“Amazing location. Amazing location, off the main road but minutes to everything in Beechworth - food, drink, history. Beautiful cottage with everything needed for a short stay, and being able to holiday with our pup is always very much appreciated.”

"Romantic cottage in the heart of Beechworth. Lovely cottage behind the main street of Beechworth. Had all the amenities needed. Only feedback is that light in shower was very dim, only 2 towels is not enough for woman with long hair, and only 1 key makes it tricky to go separate ways."

"Great place to stay. Great place to stay for 2, really central for shopping, sightseeing and restaurants, compact but clean and cosy and pet friendly. Ideal for our short visit."

"Cute and bright cottage. Such a cute but bright cottage that looks exactly like photos. Stayed with our golden retriever and it was great to stay in a beautiful cottage that allowed pets. Weather turned pretty feral while we were there and it was such a relief to know there was a protected undercover area for him. It is worth noting there’s a number of steps down to grass area so wouldn’t be overly suitable for short leg or elderly dogs. Location of cottage is brilliant, right in the heart of this beautiful vibrant town. Hostess Jen & Jess excellent communicators. Note previous review said they couldn’t find iron etc , there is one in WIR area along with a hairdryer."

"Perfect location. Walking distance to everything, and gorgeous inside. Everything felt clean, rustic and totally in character for the beautiful region. Lovely linen and fresh towels. Worth noting that toilet/shower in same little space - not an issue for most but worth being aware of. We loved the place for the perfect location."

"Perfectly located. Pickett Cottage was perfectly located, just behind the main street making getting everywhere super easy, including being able to walk straight across the road and into the Beechworth Brewery to grab drinks and an excellent takeaway pizza. The kitchen setup is basic (given location, there's no need to cook!) but still had everything we needed for a short stay. Loved the clawfoot bath / bath amenities provided and undercover parking was an added bonus."

"Beautifully presented! Beautifully presented! A stones throw from pubs, main Street, pool and local coffee spots. Very comfortable and clean. You wouldn’t know this was a pet friendly property by how well maintained and lovely the furnishings were. Loved it!"

"Beautiful property styled so nicely. A beautiful historic property that has been styled so nicely. We really appreciated being able to have our dog with us. The cottage is very centrally located, just one street back from the main street of town. This did have its downside as we noticed a fair bit of traffic and noise at night from the brewery across the road. The undercover parking provided was a great asset and piece of mind in lots of rain."

"Comfortable, clean and well located. My husband and I stayed 4 nights in Pickets Cottage Beechworth. We loved our stay and the cottage is very comfortable, clean and well located for easy access to coffee shops and eateries, as well as beer and wine tasting!! There are some beautiful walks around the town , particularly around Lake Sambal. We really appreciated the local knowledge and recommendations of Hosts, Jen and Jess."

"Walking distance to everything. Lovely little cottage in the centre of Beechworth - walking distance to everything but tucked away enough for relaxation in the claw-foot bath or a snuggle on the beautiful porch with a wool blanket. The hosts were brilliant, with loads of handy information if wanted. Lovely linen on the bed too"

"Clean, quiet and great for couples. The property is very well situated close to stores, brewery, eateries. When we arrived the final clean had not been done, so owners (or their reps) quickly changed sheets, towels and a thorough clean while we had afternoon tea nearby. As Ned Kelly would say, "Such is life". A nice bottle of wine in fridge for the trouble, which we consumed over two nights. Very good for couples, or couples with a dog (such as us). No noise heard from nearby hotels or the brewery. Beechworth is quieter than we recall from our last visit, so visit while your tourist dollar is appreciated."

"Top marks to the hosts! Our stay was uneventful: everything went to plan, all the facilities worked. So we were fully able to enjoy our stay. A particular mention for the thought that went into ensuring that the kitchen had basic supplies like salt, pepper, olive oil, rubbish bags and dishwasher tablets. Many places don't think about this. So, top marks to the hosts."
